The company has been approved by the Ministry of Finance and the Securities and Exchange Commission to engage in business activities related to the securities industry including Securities Brokerage, Securities and Derivatives Trading, Investment Advisory, Securities Underwriting, Financial Advisory, Derivatives Agent and Asset Management. KT Zmico Securities Company Limited (KT-ZMICO) was officially established in 1974 under the name Seamico Securities Public Company Limited. In 2009, Seamico Securities Plc formed a strategic partnership with Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited to jointly develop securities business under the name KT-ZMICO.

As at December 31, 2015, KTZMICO encompasses 19 branches, with 8 branches in Bangkok and 11 branches in upcountry.
