2. What are the required documents for opening an account with KTzRH?

3. How long does it take to open an account?

Upon receipt of completed account documentation, the new account will be ready within 1-2 working days.

4. What are the costs for opening an account with KTzRH?

No initial deposit or fee is required to open an account with KTzRH.

5. Is there any minimum deposit required for account opening?

No, you are not required to make initial deposit for account opening.

6. How do I make deposit to settle my trade?

You can deposit funds into your KTzRH Securities trading account from your personal CB/KBZ bank account to the following accounts.

After making deposits to the above accounts, please write down your name, signature and KTzRH Securities trading account number on your pay-in slip or receipt and send it to the assigned marketing officer via Email or other contact methods*, and please notify us by phone.

*The detail contact information will be provided by an assigned marketing officer after filling the securities trading application forms.

Note: KTzRH don’t accept hand-delivered cash. Customer has to deposit the amount before placing orders for buying stocks.

7. What do I need to do if I have some physical certificates that I want to sell in Yangon Stock Exchange?

You are required to bring down the physical share certificate to our office for verification. We will verify the name and signature on the certificate and you will need to open a Securities trading account with us.

We will then transfer the shares amount on the certificate to your securities trading account (electronic format). After the clearing of the physical share certificate, you can then place a sell order for the share.

8. How do I place order with KTzRH?

You can place a buy/sell order by calling us through telephone or come to our corporate office. Our Investment Service Centre is available from Monday – Friday, 08:30am to 5:00pm. Our professionally trained Investment Associates can answer any questions relating your account and assist you to place orders for the stocks.

9. What types of orders can I place?

When placing a buy or sell order, investors can choose from either:
• Market Order: Buy or sell a security immediately at the best available current price.
• Limit Order: Placing the order very clearly specifying the range of price at which securities can be bought or sold. e.g. “Buy 100 shares of FMI at a limit price of 30,000 or less than 30,000. Sell 100 shares of FMI at a limit price of 30,000 or higher than 30,000”.

10. What are the commissions and charges?

For example, if the base price is 60,000, the maximum order can be placed is 70,000 and the minimum is 50,000. As the tick size is 1,000, you can place order between 70000 and 50000 from 70000, 69000, 68000, and so on, to 50000.

13. Do I receive a confirmation if the order is done?

An assigned marketing officer will inform you and a confirmation letter will be sent to your email or by mail if the order is done.

14. When and how can I withdraw cash from my account after I sell stocks?

The funds will be available on the settlement date. The settlement date is T+3 which is three business days after the execution of the date. You will need to fill up the withdrawal form and send it back to us. After confirmation, the funds will be credited to your bank account.

If the form is submitted before 12 p.m, the funds will be credited to your bank account in the next day. If the form is submitted after 12 p.m, the funds will be credited to your bank account in the next two day.

15. What time can I start placing orders online?

For online, our order acceptance hours is from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm.

16. Why can't I place order which valued more than MMK 20 million online?

Please be informed that the purpose to limit trading amount of one transaction is to reduce the damage on customers in case of erroneous order. If you want to place order which valued more than MMK 20 million, please contact our marketing officers.

17. What if my order is not executed?

Every unexecuted order will be expired after market closed. You can resend your orders next business day 8:45 am.

18. If I have any problem related to online trading, how can I contact customer center?

By calling 01 861 0480 or 01 861 0417, you can reach our Customer Center from 08:30 to 17:00 on any business days.

Any inquiries received after 17:00 will be responded on next business day.

Our Customer Center will be closed on weekend and Market Holiday according to YSX.

20. How to reset my securities account password?

If you forget your password or your account is locked, please do the following steps:

  1. Go to login page and click Forget Password.
  2. Input your Username (Account No.) then click Confirm. The system will send a reset password link to your registered email address.
  3. Go to your mailbox and click the reset password link. The system will send you another email containing one-time password.
    Note: This one-time password will be valid for only 5 minutes.
  4. Use the one-time password to login. You will be forced to input new password.
  5. Use your new password for next login.
